The Founder is a biopic film based on Ray Kroc who you may know as the Founder of McDonalds. This film explorers his journey to success and his discovery of McDonalds.
The film gives audiences an insight of how Ray Kroc who is played by Michael Keaton, a struggling salesman from Illinois, met Mac and Dick McDonald, who were running a burger operation in 1950s Southern California. Kroc was impressed by the brothers’ speedy system of making the food and saw franchise potential. Kroc soon maneuvers himself into a position to be able to pull the company from the brothers and create a multi-billion dollar empire.
I must say that compared to previous biopic films, I really enjoyed this film and thought that it was a well planned and well made film that allowed audiences to explore Ray Kroc and his journey to success.
The film does well in exploring Ray Croc’s journey to success by establishing certain stages for audiences to explore such as what life was like for Ray Kroc as a struggling salesman all the way to his discovery of McDonalds and his journey to building a multi-billion dollar empire.
Michael Keaton who has recently experienced a big boost in his acting career was fantastic in this film and I thought he did a great job in playing Ray Kroc and really admired his approach to the role.
The Founder is a film that allows audiences to be inspired by entrepreneurial spirit which Ray Kroc played by Michael Keaton establishes and it allows audiences to get a feel of what it is like to have a passion for business as well as the quality of determination and hard work that it takes to building a business empire.
The Founder compared to previous biopic films such as Jobs was well made and really enjoyable and since not only does it give audiences a chance to explore Ray Kroc’s journey to success but it also inspires audiences.
I really enjoyed The Founder and I’m going to give it a 8/10
