This weekend was very special for many Marvel fans since it was Disney’s D23 Expo which is a big event which Disney holds every year to showcase some their latest and upcoming films.
The Marvel event at D23 Expo was very explosive this year as many fans were filled with excitement. Marvel treated fans by revealing a few things about the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War, including some footage.
(I will hopefully share this footage with you when released – be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel – link below).
Now according to people who saw the footage at D23, they said that it was a pretty exciting and long trailer. They also said that we get to see the Avengers meet the Guardians of the Galaxy and that they are all trying to escape from the Mad Titan Thanos.
Marvel also introduced the children of Thanos aka the Black Order.
The Black Order first appeared in 2013’s New Avengers comics Vol. 3. The group was created by Jonathan Hickman and artists Jerome Opena and Jim Cheung for the Infinity storyline.
The members of the Black Order in the comic books are called Corvus Glaive who is Thanos’ right-hand man, Ebony Maw and Proxima Midnight, Black Dwarf and Supergiant. Each member of the Black Order is a huge threat to the Avengers and with them carrying out all of Thanos’ dealings, it does sound possible that we could see other villains join Thanos as he conquers the universe.
The introduction of the Black Order into the MCU raises many questions and makes you wonder if the Marvel heroes may have assemble the Infinity Gaunlet in order to stop Thanos and his minions.
I have got to say that I am very impressed, I never thought or had even imagined that everything from the day I walked into that cinema in 2008 to watch Iron Man would build up to this, it’s amazing.
Avengers: Infinity War will be released in cinemas May 4, 2018.
