So as you all may be familiar with the rumours that were flying around a few months ago about a possible Obi-Wan spinoff film well those rumours did sadly disappear.
There are now new rumors of a possible Star Wars spinoff movie trilogy focusing on the adventures of Obi-Wan Kenobi which would take place between the events of Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope.
Since Disney announced there would be a series of spinoff Star Wars movies being released over the next few years there has been a lot of speculation from fans about a possible Obi-Wan spinoff film trilogy starring Ewan McGregor.
There has also been claims that Disney are in talks with Ewan McGregor over an unspecified role. That role is believed to be a Post-Episode III Ben Kenobi in not just one movie, but three in a spinoff series that are separate from the Anthology/Star Wars Story series that Rogue One is part of.
I would absolutely love to see disney go ahead and make this spinoff film series based on Obi-WanKenobi because I think that there is a big gap in between Revengeof the Sith and A New Hope which I feel this film series could fill in, it would also give us film fans the chance to explore what Obi-Wan Kenobi did after the events of Revenge of the Sith and how he communicated with Qui Gon using the force.
