Can you believe it? Nearly five years have passed since we all witnessed the tragic yet epic end of Harry, Ron, and Hermione’s adventure in the last Harry Potter film “The Deathly Hallows Part 2”.
We watched happily as Harry and his two best friends battled Voldemort’s army, destroying the horcruxes, and defeating Voldemort once and for all. Everything ended and Harry, his best friends Ron and Hermione and the rest of the wizards from the Wizarding world of Harry Potter lived happily and peacefully.
But cheer up everyone because JK Rowling has another book from the same world as Harry Potter being adapted into a film, and yes that book is “The Fantastic Beasts and where to find them” which is set to be released next year in 2016!
The film takes place 70 years before the birth of Harry Potter and is about the adventures of writer Newt Scamander who lives within New York’s secret community of witches and wizards.
Production of the new film has already begun and here are some of the photos from the set of The Fantastic Beasts film.
The director of the film David Yates has said that the film will have a “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” theme to it which means this film could be a lot darker and scarier.
The Fantastic Beasts and where to Find them will be released in 2016 and will also have another two films released after as well to make it a complete trilogy.
With JK Rowling and Warner Brothers working together to adapt this book into a film, could we see more prequel films in the future about maybe some characters within the Harry Potter story such as Dumbledore and Voldemort and more etc… Would love to see a prequel film series about Harry Potter’s Parents and the adventures they had before Harry was born. Warner Brothers should also consider making a Television Series about a story within the Harry Potter world.
