Victor Frankenstein starring James McAvoy and Daniel Radcliffe is in my opinion a great film because not only is it the first time we see Radcliffe and McAvoy working together on screen but its a film which involves a lot of action and adventure and is focused on a very different story compared to the classic Frankenstein story.
The film is about scientist named Victor Frankenstein (James McAvoy) who meets a gifted surgeon named Igor Strausman (Daniel Radcliffe). Victor Frankenstein offers Strausman his friendship, but also offers him a chance to work with him on groundbreaking research project that could change the world forever. When Victor’s experiments with life and death go too far, only Igor can bring him back from the brink of madness and save him from his monstrous creation.
Victor Frankenstein was a great film to watch as it was very interesting to see how the film developed and continued to reach its ending peak.
The chemistry between James McAvoy and Daniel Radcliffe worked brilliantly and it was great to see how the friendship of their characters develop and grow stronger throughout the film. The actors were both fantastic and I would pay to go see another film starring the two actors again because they both bring energy to the screen and really get audiences interested in watching the film.
The film’s plot was very interesting because it focused on the research project of Victor Frankenstein and went a little bit more in depth compared to the original Frankenstein story because in this film we get to see how Victor would go the extra mile to try and get everything he can in order to get what he wants and you see this when he meets Igor and when presenting his ideas and research at his university. The film really is both an entertaining and fascinating adventure.
Its a film which I really enjoyed so I am going to give it a 7/10 because it had a good plot, was full of adventure, emotion and action. I would absolutely recommend you all to see this film.
